6 of the best places for Christmas cocktails in Liverpool

The John Lewis advert has aired, the Coca-Cola truck has passed through Liverpool and the carol singers are out in force – the Christmas season has well and truly arrived.

But if you’re still not feeling festive, the Christmas cocktails on offer at these fine establishments are guaranteed to get you merry and fill you with good cheer.

Ditch the turkey and tinsel for a Christmas celebration filled with Latin American flavour at Albert Dock’s Revolución de Cuba.

If salsa on the dancefloor isn’t your thing, you can kick back with an Elf and Safety cocktail. This cheery blend of black rum, Cointreau, pineapple, cranberry and vanilla, garnished with blackberries and redcurrants will fill you with Christmas spirits.

Revolución de Cuba is also serving up festive twists on classic cocktails, like the Marshmallow Mojito, Salted Caramel White Russian and Festive Spiced Daiquiri.

The true meaning of Christmas doesn’t necessarily include a raging hangover, so why not indulge in a round of non-alcoholic refreshments and create some memories that won’t end up a fuzzy blur?

Liverpool’s first dry bar The Brink has added some festive fun to its drinks menu with a limited edition range of seasonal Mocktails and Yuletide Pitchers.

The Mulled Mixed Berry Punch, Brink Toddy, Spiced Cherry, Seasonal Sherbet, A Little Bit of Luxury and the Brink Panther bring the festive joy, minus those post-party regrets.

Highlights include the Candy Cane, a nostalgic mix of vodka, Creme de Menthe and Cacao white liqueur, laced with dashes of grenadine and half and half. There’s even a candy cane on the side!

If that’s not sweet enough for you, the White Christmas is a froth-filled dream, bringing together Absolut Vanilla vodka, Frangelico, hazelnut liqueur, gingerbread syrup and cream. It’s a concoction that works equally well hot or cold and it comes with a gingerbread man to snack on.
