A Costa Coffee store could be opening on Queens Drive under new plans submitted to Liverpool City Council.
Proposals have been revealed to convert the ground floor of a three-storey building at Queens Drive retail park into a coffee shop.
The new Costa would span 267 sq m of floorspace and employ six full-time staff as well as 10 part-timers, opening between 7am and 7pm daily.
Earlier this year gym chain Anytime Fitness revealed proposals to open a 24-hour gymnasium at the vacant building, which was originally built to house the Merseyside Society for Deaf People.
However, the organisation has found an alternative home since its offices were demolished to make way for the retail park.
Queens Drive retail park opened this year with Aldi and M&S Food stores as tenants.
