Domino’s Pizza has chosen a former bank on Aigburth Road for its next Liverpool branch.
The American takeaway chain wants to transform the old HSBC premises near Lark Lane into its first Aigburth opening.
Liverpool City Council’s planning committee will meet next Tuesday (20 February) to discuss the proposals, which are recommended for approval.
The bank closed in 2016, with HSBC citing falling customer numbers as the reason behind its decision.
Last month Domino’s lodged plans to relocate its Allerton Road branch.
The American takeaway chain wants to close its current base on the South Liverpool street and move to a larger unit near the junction with Penny Lane.
Moving to the former office of estate agent Roberts Edwards & Worrall, which has been vacant for the past 12 months, would see Domino’s more than double its shopfront on Allerton Road.
