Visitors to Mattel Play! Liverpool can help boost funds for Children in Need as the attraction hosts events and challenges.
A pyjama and onesie day and a ball pool challenge are among fundraising activities lined up at the Albert Dock destination as the annual charity appeal returns.
With the BBC’s Children in Need day itself taking place this Friday (17 November), there’ll be a fun-filled schedule to raise money for the cause throughout the week until 19 November.
Fans of Thomas & Friends can guess the number of balls in Harold the Helicopter’s ball pool to try and win a family pass to the venue and a Fireman Sam toy.
Plus staff will be giving customers a good laugh and asking them to give generously as they don pyjamas and onesies.
Right through the week homemade Pudsey cupcakes, baked by a member of the Mattel Play! team, will be available in the in-house café, and there’ll also be a chance for children to have their faces painted in return for donations during the weekend.
Zachary Roberts-Kendall, commercial manager at Mattel Play! Liverpool, says: “We are really excited to be getting involved in this year’s Children in Need.
“As an attraction which welcomes families from all over the country, we’re thrilled to be able to give something back to help disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
“We’ve counted up the balls in our ball pool, picked out our favourite onesies and we’re raring to go.”
