Meet Frank team confirms Hafla Hafla restaurant for Lark Lane

The team behind Meet Frank is planning to take its Hafla Hafla street food stand to the next level by opening a standalone restaurant on Lark Lane.

Your Move revealed earlier this month the hot dog specialists were planning to open a new eatery on the popular South Liverpool street.

The Arabic-inspired Hafla Halfa, which is known for its halloumi fries, has been operating as a street food stall and also has a stand in Baltic Market.

Other popular dishes on the menu include falafel wraps, mezze boxes, lamb shawarmas and ‘Hafla fries’.

Tim Haggis, the man behind of Meet Frank and Hafla Hafla, has submitted plans to Liverpool City Council for the change of use of a former off-licence on Lark Lane into a restaurant.

According to the planning application, the new permanent home for Hafla Hafla would include an outdoor roof terrace and provide a “new, exciting and desirable dining destination for the lively locality”.
