Homes planned for cleared Kensington site

A cleared plot of land is being earmarked for new homes in Liverpool’s Kensington area.

The Fairfield Street site, previously occupied by a house and an adjacent former workshop building which have since been demolished, is the subject of newly submitted plans for five terraced houses.

Wirral-based applicant MAC Roofing & Contracting Ltd is looking to develop the two-storey properties, which will have space for further accommodation at attic level.

A planning application submitted to Liverpool City Council adds:  “The perimeter of the site and the boundaries between the individual houses are to have brick walls erected to form small garden areas to the frontages of the new houses and small gardens to the rear of the new houses.”

BDS Architectural & Structural Engineering Design has worked on the plans for the proposed development.
