Continental cake shop and café chain Patisserie Valerie is preparing to open up a second branch in Liverpool city centre.
The indulgent eatery, which will also create cakes to order, is bringing around 20 new jobs to the city.
Opening on 31 October, the store will be located on the lower ground floor of Lord Street’s Debenhams store and promises a menu of grilled snacks, coffee and loose leaf teas, gateaux and patisserie, and the brand’s own take on afternoon tea.
Ahead of the launch Paul May, CEO of Patisserie Holdings PLC, says: “Following the success of our first Patisserie Valerie in Liverpool, we are pleased to be opening our second store in this location, which also sees the continuation of our collaboration with Debenhams.”
Patisserie Valerie currently operates more than 150 stores across the UK and Republic of Ireland, including a branch at Liverpool’s Metquarter.
