Liverpool’s former Erskine Industrial Estate site is currently being prepared for Elliot Group’s £100 million Aura accommodation development.
The mixed-use project next to the city’s Knowledge Quarter will comprise homes for key workers and students alongside facilities including yoga studios, a residents’ gym, a bar and study zones.
Developer Elliot group has appointed Bolton-based Forrest to build the complex, which will incorporate 142 one and two-bedroom apartments for rent and 1,007 student rooms.
The site hoarding and preparation stage is underway at the site, where the Falconer Chester Hall-designed scheme will rise to 14 storeys at its highest point.
Two buildings will be linked by public realm at the development, which will aim to attract hospital staff working at the nearby new £450m Royal Hospital.
