Studio homes planned for Renshaw Street

A new mixed-use project creating 160 homes and aparthotel units is being planned for Renshaw Street in Liverpool city centre.

Applicant YPG Renshaw St Ltd is proposing to transform part of the former Rapid hardware store into the development, which will also feature ground floor and basement commercial space.

According to a planning application submitted to Liverpool City Council, the mix of residential studios and aparthotel units would also be accompanied by other facilities including a cycle store, plant room, offices, a reception, store room, laundry room, a gym and a lobby.

If the plans are given the go ahead, part of the existing 48-54 Renshaw Street building would be demolished to make way for the 11-storey development.
